Who We Serve
We service a variety of industries, including automotive/transportation, food/beverage, microelectronics, pharmaceuticals, power generation, textiles, refining, primary metals, mining/mineral processing, chemical processing, construction/demolition and general manufacturing.
Acceptable Waste Streams
Special Waste is any waste material that, because of its physical characteristics, chemical makeup or biological nature, requires either special handling procedures and permitting or poses a potential threat to human health, equipment, property or the environment. These types of waste can be broken down into two main categories: industrial waste and pollution-control waste.
Examples include but are not limited to: asbestos, ash (from fires, furnaces, boilers or incinerators), auto shredder fluff, baghouse dust, chemical compounds, contaminated soils, debris and/or residue from spill cleanup work, demolition waste from industrial facilities, industrial process wastes, foundry sand, sludge and/or paste-type material, non-infectious medical waste, off-specification or outdated products, low-level PCB waste, petroleum products, pharmaceutical wastes, pollution-control wastes, process waste, resource exploration and mining wastes, sandblast grit, underground storage tanks (UST).
Special Waste can be broken down into two categories: Industrial Waste and Pollution-Control Waste.
Industrial Waste sources include: fertilizer or agricultural chemicals; food and related products; inorganic chemical production; iron and steel manufacturers or foundries; chemical production; rubber, plastic and resin manufacturing; pulp and paper industry; off-specification retail products; incinerator ashes; stone, glass, clay and concrete products; textile industry; transportation manufacturing; and metallic dust sweepings.
Pollution-Control Waste sources include: water and wastewater treatment sludges; contaminated soils; baghouse dust; scrubber sludges; chemical spill cleanup wastes; remedial activity cleanup wastes; and oil/water separator waste.
Landfills
Allied Waste Service’s landfill operations are conducted in accordance with U.S. EPA standards in Subtitle D of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) as well as local and state rules.

Record Keeping
All of our facilities have the capability to supply volume disposal reports for your federal and state reporting needs. Through our manifesting programs and TRUX system, we can provide the necessary information you require.
